The Interplanetary is coming August 26-28, 2016 in Vigo, Spain! It is the largest Infinity event in the known universe.

What is the Interplanetary?
The Interplanetary is the most prominent event for Infinity.
A place to enjoy the hobby and the passion for miniatures with other people. You can participate in an international grand tournament and prove your leadership skills; you can spend a good time and enjoy with the brushes on our fast painting contest or join this year on our first WarCrow, the big Infinity painting contest.
You can meet Corvus Belli staff, join roundtable conferences, and assist to informative talks or simply geek out with other wargame fans.
If you want we can teach you top lay Infinity, discover new ways of using your minis (like Deathmatch), or even discover the techniques of Ángel Giráldez himself. This is the place to enjoy every aspect of the hobby.
In a nutshell the Interplanetary is three days filled with activities for the players and the non-players; but the people that you will find is what really turn this event into a perfect weekend.
WHEN? FRIDAY 26th, SATURDAY 27th, Sunday 28th of August 2016
LOCATION:
Our center of operations will be the Estación Maritima, placed within the transatlantic dock, very close from the A Laxe mall.
TOURNAMENT:
SATURDAY 26th and SUNDAY 27th (only in the Morning)
RULES:
ITS Tournament with 100 participants that will respect the basic ITS rules, with this specifications:
- Mid-Tier: 300 points. (6 SWC) Extras: Spec-Op (12px).
- 5 rounds; four on Saturday and one on Sunday.
- The first and second classified after the 4th round is complete will play for the first and second place on the 5th round. The rest of the participants will classify after the 5th round for the third place and down.
- Missions:
- Annihilation
- Frontline
- Barrage (New mission. Recap: Kill specialists, kill lieutenants, kill in general and get points out of the panoplies)
- Rescue (New mission. Recap: Rescue 4 Civilians, that are placed in the opposite site of the deployment)
- 5
The games will have a total duration of one hour and fifty minutes (1h 50 mins) having each player a max of:
1st Turn: 20 mins
2nd Turn: 15 mins
3rd Turn: 10 mins
Entry Price:
15€ (The entry includes an envelope with general information and commemorative details of the event).
Army Lists Format
2 lists of the same Army or Sectorial army will be sent using the ITS tournament Manager app. Will only be considered valid those lists made via the official infinity app: Infinity Army.
Entry Dates:
Unlike other years, this year will have a restricted number of Spanish and foreign players the first day of entries. The distribution will be 60 Spanish player spots and 40 foreign player spots. Once all players have entered or 9hrs before the opening of the inscription, there will not be reservations possible and everyone else will form part of a queue in order to access an entry spot.
The inscription opening will be at 15:00 Spanish time CET o UTC/GMT+1. At 23:59 that same day the reserved spots will be opened (in case of not taken), the queue will be formed.
A list will be posted with all the ones in and all the ones in the queue.
WARCROW:
WHAT IS IT AND RULES
This year, in the Interplanetary the “WARCROW” painting contest debuts, a contest that aspires to be a reference within the painting scene.
We will have a jury of renowned painters, special prizes and patronage from the best brands.
Do you want to be awarded with a “Crow”, the trophy that only the best can dispute?
CATEGORIES:
-Small individual miniatures.
-Big individual miniatures (figure on a 40mm or bigger base, including dioramas).
-Platoon (Group of at least three miniatures from the same army).
-Specialist Crow (the same miniature for all the participants established by the organization. This year: Achilles V2, commercial version or 10th anniversary).
PRIZE: 10 EUROS
PRE ENTRY AND UPFRONT PAYMENT: 8 EUROS

COSPLAY CONTEST:
This year will be bigger, more epic. Dare to delve into the skin of the character of your choosing, it is always worth to brag about your cosplay and to be able to receive the big prizes that we are preparing this year.

BE BOSTRIA FOR A DAY:
For when there is nothing else to do or for the companions there will be a table dedicated to design the color scheme of a miniature. You can try as many times as you want. Dare with the more crazy and extravagant color patterns or go for a more formal and sober one. The one chosen by Bostria will enjoy a prize for good eye for design.
All the patterns will be displayed during the event.

PAINTING COURSES: ÁNGEL GIRÁLDEZ:
They say that it is all technique that can be learnt… but seeing a miniature painted by the hand of the official painter… is a real pleasure.
Join in and learn the tricks and secrets of From the A to Z in our painting courses with Ángel Giráldez.
We have two, one on Friday and the other on Saturday, so the ones playing the tournament can also attend. There will be limited spots, so be ready for the inscription dates!
VIERNES 26th, evening.

TALKS:
ROUNDTABLE + SIGNINGS:
The staff will be present as every year, signing your books and answering your questions, doubts and even your geek demands :).
Also, some of the creators of the game will make a roundtable on the stage were we will be able to participate with them in an open debate about background, rules and the future of INFINITY.
WHAT TIME IS IT? IT’S BOSTRIA TIME!
Our main star (after Agustiño and “Pulpi”) will perform one of his classic presentations where he will tell us about the recent news from the GenCon event, but also about the near future of Infinity. Will show news of the following months, advanced sculptures, troop profiles and new product releases.
This talk is his moment, his stage, You think he will drop our jaws?
ÁNGEL GIRÁLDEZ
Official painter will come up to the stage to tell us how he faces his everyday work, what is his perspective of the hobby evolution, centering the focus around miniature painting.
Will talk about his side (but joined to Infinity) projects, of his painting courses Tour and many other things that he is keeping for the talk.

TRIVIAL + GYMKHANA:
You think you know all about Infinity? Background, game rules, miniatures…
The Troll organization of the Interplanetary will put your knowledge to the test with this fun activity for groups, presented on stage by HellLois and Bostria.
We will also have a Gymkhana with tracks and trials distributed throughout the facility. Overcome all of them and you will have a prize!
DISPLAY: BACKGROUND
This year we will dedicate our corner to the Displaying of miniatures, illustrations and scenery of the huge and rich INFINITY Background.
Even if you have already read the books or if this alternative future is unknown to you, come on in and see the past, present and future of the Human Sphere.
ROLEPLAYING GAME:
The Infinity Roleplaying game Kickstarter was a huge success and last year we had the opportunity of trying a bit the game before its release. During the vent there will be open games for any fan to live their own adventure within the Infinity universe, as your favorite troop.
CHILL OUT ZONE:
Are you saturated from your last game, do you want to talk comfortably with other players or staff members? Come to our “bar” sit down, have something if you want, buy one of the month’s new releases for Infinity.
